Description

Busiata is a typical pasta shape from Trapani, in West Sicily. Busiata is from Busa, the grass that was used by our Sicilian gran mothers to make this special pasta.

We farm our selected type of wheat in our family land and with the semola we mix and extrude the pasta using bronze dies and we slowly dry it for over 24 hours.

The result is a more porous and artisan feel pasta that strongly binds to all sauces from meat to fish. Grab a few boxes of this pasta for the chance to experience the difference of how great its shape can bind with your sauce. Its curly shapes allows all your condiments to blend and get stuck in it, thus delivering a rich taste.

This pasta is made with Saragolla wheat. It is great source of fibre, selenium, manganese, magnesium and protein.
